La Scarina: Opera Concept Reel (Opera Fantasy Performance by Filothei for "Drag & Opera")

Celebrating the final days of the completion of 200 years since the commencement of the Greek Independence Revolution, the Jukebox Opera "La Scarina" premieres in the newly founded "Opera Palace" stage of the New National Theatre of Tokyo.
The Opera tells the story of Lascarina Bouboulina, heroine of the Greek Revolutionary war. From the innocence of her early years to the bravery of her legendary battles to the vulnerability of her darkest, most intimate moments.
The libretto is proudly inspired by the iconic play titled "Me, Laskarina" (Εγώ, η Λασκαρίνα) starring Mimi Denisi who managed to immortalize Bouboulina in the hearts of the greek people as a Symbol of the war of 1821.
