Husband and wife duo and puppet experts, Michael Frith and Kathy Mullen (he created Fraggle Rock, Muppet Babies, Dr. Teeth, and Fozzie Bear and she performed Mokey in Fraggle Rock and assisted Frank Oz performing Yoda in The Empire Strikes Back) teamed up to create No Strings International. A not-for-profit company, No Strings uses puppets to create short films. From land mine safety, to tsunamis, hygiene, and more, the films seek to teach kids in the developing world. Frith and Mullen team up with former “Muppet” talent, produce content, and send it to NGOs to help educate their communities. In celebration of World Children’s Day, we decided to dive into No Strings and its effects on the next generation of leaders.
