Main Schindler lifts at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport

Filmed in 2013 and 2014. These clips were filmed during several visits to Newport's main hospital, the Royal Gwent. We were there for 2 reasons - my eye tear duct operation and visits to the urology department with my late Grandad. These lifts looked to be either 70's Platt-Schindlers or Schindler R Series, modernised by Schindler with green Dewhurst buttons and a generic looking panel. These lifts are situated at the hospital's main lobby and serve all 7 floors, and there are various other lifts dotted about in departments around the hosital, some of which I've filmed. In the mainlobby, there's a set of 5 passenger lifts and 3 staff only lifts opposite. I did ride one of them, but didn't record the ride as I was being transported to my ward after the operation. The passenger lifts which are much smaller than the staff ones are usually very busy, but there have been a few rare times where we got these to ourselves.
