Congress Takes The Issue Of Moral Policing In Pune To State Assembly

The Maharashtra Congress cited the issue of moral policing in Pune in the state assembly where a girl was beaten and harassed for wearing short clothes and allegedly roaming around with boys in the city of Pune on 1st May. The party has also written to police seeking immediate action against the perpetrators.The girl was dragged out of the car and threatened, molested and beaten up for wearing a short dress by five people. Three people have been arrested out of the five involved and two people have been absconding. Five youth in car followed the car she was in with her male friends and intercepted her car after which they dragged her out and beat her and also her friends.
