Embroidered characters + hand-drawn backgrounds! Exploration adventure game Scarlet Deer Inn. Play as Elise, the mother of two children. After an accident, you are forced to step out of your ordinary life working at an inn. Explore medieval scenes inspired by Slavic folklore, and a dark underground monster-filled world. Visit unusual and interesting places during the day, and try to escape anxiety and nightmares at night... If there's one piece of advice, it would be to hold your torch tightly and confront the demons within.

The game is developing by a Czech couple team, Attu Games, who handled almost all the work, from the embroidery, illustrations, storytelling, programming, music, to publishing. As hobbyist crafters, they wanted to make a game incorporating real handmade elements, because "not everything has to be efficient, it's fun to craft tangible things and use them in a game." More than showcasing embroidery textures, their goal was achieving the look and feel of Studio Ghibli animation. For this, they experimented extensively with approaches, including embroidering whole scenes and testing outline styles. "It's not perfect, but it's ours," they said.
