I’m so incredibly excited to announce my very own custom pizza 🍕 at Spinning Dough in Oakland! This custom creation is the result of hours of hard work between Jeff (the owner of Spinning Dough), my sister, and myself.

Coming up with this pizza was no easy feat. The first few iterations were all about trying to strike the right balance of flavors. I will admit there were instances where we cooked up pizzas that were too sweet and even a little floppy in the center. We played around with infusing blackberries into ricotta cheese, trying out different proteins like sausage or bacon, and different toppings like pesto and pistachios. I knew I wanted it to be perfect and didn’t want to release anything that didn’t “live up to the hype” so to speak.

Many pizzas and lots of taste testing later sessions, we settled on the final recipe. Meet ✨“Eatsbyrachel’s Berry Pizza”✨ that features a blackberry bechamel sauce, cheese 🧀, and dollops of mashed blackberries. It’s topped off with sliced basil, crushed pistachios, and a drizzle of honey 🍯

This pizza will be available in JANUARY and I hope you love it as much as I do 💜
