We performed this poem as part of our Heritage week 2024 program in Ashford Co. Wicklow where Séamus lived for 5 years.

The sentiment of the poem: welcoming new communities echo across time and resonates with renewed relevance in our world today.

We paired the poem with an Irish traditional tune - Trasna na dTonnta - which is also very much about home-coming.
