Heesica Moment #10: [GDA'09] By Her Side Until Her Tears Have Dried

This is an old moment from the Golden Disk Awards 2009 and personally one of my favourites. It took me this long to upload this video, because it took me ages to find different angle fancams of their interactions. This was when I really started to get into the Heesica fandom.

After the GDA Digital Daesung was given to SNSD, the whole group shed tears of joy. Near the ending, Jessica started wandering around the stage. Meanwhile, Heechul was celebrating with his Super Junior and SHINee dongsaengs. He was playfully flailing Taemin's arms around and talking to his best friend, Hankyung.

But when Jessica walked up behind him in tears, he turned around, immediately letting go of Taemin's flailing arms. He then pulled Jessica up to the front, where she was in the center of attention. In the attempt to include her, he gave her the microphone, but both of them just ended up laughing because Jessica was speechless.

Anyone who knows Kim Heechul, knows that the couple HanChul (Hankyung+Heechul) is inseparable. But when Jessica was there, Heechul's whole attention was given to her, even though Hankyung was there too.

This shows how much Heesica cares for each other. With the other girls, Heechul might give them a brief pat on the back or head. Maybe even a hug as a gesture of comfort. But with Jessica, he gave her his full attention, always trying to make her laugh. And the fact that Jessica walked right up to Heechul in tears showed that she knew he was the right person to go to.
