At select Brooklyn Public Library locations, we are posting StoryWalks® outdoors! StoryWalks® are picture books displayed outside to encourage reading and walking. We will be posting them on fences and on yard signs at select libraries and partner sites. Each book has prompts to encourage family discussion and interaction!

You can view I Got the Rhythm by Brooklyn native Connie Schofield-Morrison and illustrated by Frank Morrison (Bloomsbury, 2014). On a trip to the park with their grown-up, a child hears a rhythm coming from the world around them and begins to move to the beat, finally beginning an impromptu dance in which other kids join in.
