Recipe:

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1/3 Cup of either bourbon, apple juice or chicken broth
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup soy sauce
2-4 minced garlic cloves
2 tbs corn starch mixed with 3 tbs cold water(slurry)

Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides and place them in the Crockpot.

In a medium bowl add the bourbon or apple juice ot chicken broth, brown sugar, soy sauce and garlic. Stir well and pour over the chicken in the Crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.

30 minutes before the chicken is done, mix the corn starch with cold water. Blend this "slurry" in with the chicken. This will help the sauce thicken.
