Описание к видео EMBRYOLOGY (IX): Folding of the Embryonic Disc and Related Disease...

In this advanced lecture, Dr. Gillard describes the folding of the trilaminar disc to create the classic tube-within-a-tube body design. This folding creates several important structures: the gut tube, body cavity, and anterior body wall. He also covers the associated congenital disorders, such as omphalocele; gastroschisis; persistent vitelline duct and its conditions (e.g., Meckel's diverticulum, vitelline ligament, vitelline fistula, vitelline cyst); and ectopia cordis.

By the way, if you enjoy these Academic lectures, I created a YouTube page which will take you through, in sequence, all 5 of his lecture and lab classes for the Spring 2020. Ten weeks worth of lectures! Classes include the following: Spinal Anatomy, Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Pathology, Dermatology, Gastrointestinal and Genitourinary Pathology and Embryology.
