জুলাই বিপ্লবের ঘোষণাপত্র সামনে রেখে, ৬ থেকে ১১ জানুয়ারি সারাদেশে জনসংযোগ করবে, বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলন এবং জাতীয় নাগরিক কমিটি। দুপুরে বাংলামোটরে, বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের কেন্দ্রীয় কার্যালয়ে যৌথ সংবাদ সম্মেলনে এ কর্মসূচি ঘোষণা করা হয়। এ সময়ের মধ্যে, ঘোষণাপত্র তৈরিতে সরকার কার্যকর উদ্যোগ না নিলে কঠোর আন্দোলনের হুঁশিয়ারি দেন সংগঠন দু'টির নেতারা।

২০২৪ সালে, সড়ক দুর্ঘটনায় দেশে প্রতিদিন গড়ে ২৩ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। একবছরে, সেই সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছে ৮ হাজার ৫৪৩ জনে। সংবাদ সম্মেলনে এসব তথ্য তুলে ধরেছে যাত্রী কল্যাণ সমিতি। সংগঠনটি জানায়, দুর্ঘটনায় আক্রান্ত যানবাহনের শীর্ষে রয়েছে মোটরসাইকেল। গেলো বছর শুধু মোটরসাইকেল দুর্ঘটনায় প্রাণ গেছে দুই হাজার ৫৭০ জনের। বিশেষজ্ঞদের অভিমত, দুর্ঘটনা কমাতে এখনই কার্যকর পদক্ষেপ না নিলে; দীর্ঘ হবে মৃত্যুর মিছিল।

Keeping the July Revolution declaration in mind, the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and the National Citizens' Committee will hold public relations across the country from January 6 to 11. The program was announced at a joint press conference at the central office of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement at Banglamotor in the afternoon. During this time, the leaders of the two organizations warned of a tough movement if the government does not take effective steps to prepare the declaration.

In 2024, an average of 23 people died in road accidents in the country every day. In one year, that number has risen to 8,543. The Passenger Welfare Association presented this information at the press conference. The organization said that motorcycles are at the top of the vehicles affected by accidents. Last year, 2,570 people died in motorcycle accidents alone. Experts are of the opinion that if effective steps are not taken now to reduce accidents; the death march will be long.
