Ghana is Now Producing Sustainable cooking Fuel from Grass – Grass to Charcoal Innovation

Reports show that entrepreneurs in Ghana are actively investigating the establishment of grass charcoal businesses, inspired by the success of pilot initiatives in the Savannah and Upper West regions of Ghana
Through a collaboration between the Miller Institute for Transdisciplinary and Development Studies (MITDS) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), a novel production technique has been developed to convert savannah grass into charcoal
