This was filmed closer to the head of the estuary and I was able to capture more of the mechanics of the wave developing. It was a 9.8m tide. It’s not so much the initial wave, it’s what follows behind it that was incredible. Definitely one to watch in safety on dry land. The high tide needs to be over 9.5m and it comes about 2 hours before official high tide time. Sept 20 2020.

This is the first video I took of the bore in Feb 2019. It’s had quite a response!
