The new C.Crane CC Radio-EP Pro AM FM Stereo is an excellent portable DSP radio, with an upgraded circuit board. This may be one of the best performing AM radios currently on the market. Now with a new revision this radio has become even more versatile.

I'm very pleased overall so far with the build quality, audio quality and reception on both bands.

Features I like about this radio:
FM Reception...wow. This is very good.
AM Reception...wow, we are going to do some future scans.
FM Stereo sounds really good on the headphones..lots of bass. A bit more with Revision 2.
Bass and Treble controls...all radios of this size should have this.
Dial Light...amazing.
Flush fitting handle.
Gun Metal Color...this looks really good.
Speaker audio quality is great.
36" antenna for FM.
200mm internal antenna for AM.
Dial accuracy is improved over the old model. Slightly better then first EP Pro.
Linear power supply included. No noise on the AM band when using it.
External Antenna jacks.
Headphone jack now has a metal sleeve on Revision 2.
9K/10K dedicated switch now allows many other countries to enjoy this awesome radio. This was added on Revision 2.
Eliminated false peaks on the AM band with Revision 2.

Features that could be added or improved on:
Have a switch to disable "Mute on Tuning".
Eliminate popping sound when turning it on..minor quibble.
This is a good one...add a second speaker on right side...oh yeah.

Overall, C.Crane has done a fine job improving an already awesome DSP radio. The added 9K/10K switch now makes this radio available to the world. The removal of the false peak circuit on the AM band really helps you zero in on stations. I can say if you want to buy a solid AM DXer, this is the one, Go For It! :)
