A group of nurses have written an open letter to Keir Starmer, expressing their fears over continuing to work in the NHS after the Lucy Letby case.

It comes after an expert witness for the defence in the trial said his evidence might have changed the outcome if he was called to the stand.

Last August, Letby was convicted of the murders of seven babies and the attempted murders of six others, with two attempts on one child.
