According to Mike Coppinger, Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia anticipated matchup is in jeopardy of not happening do to network politics.

The issue, according to Mike Coppinger, is that the Gervonta Davis side, meaning the PBC and Showtime, want a rematch clause, just in case Gervonta was to lose the fight.

But they don't want Ryan Garcia team to have a rematch clause. The first fight would be on PBC/Showtime/Golden Boy.

If Gervonta were to lose, and he activates his rematch clause, Golden Boy would like to have the 2nd fight on Golden Boy/DAZN.

Which, in my opinion is fair. This seems to be the hangup with the 2 sides.

One side, Showtime and The PBC want to dictate everything, even if Tank were to lose.

The way things are going, I don't even know if were going to the Inoue vs Fulton fight. Especially if contracts haven't been signed as of yet.
