I tested a set of Powerline adapters with a few extension cords to see how it would perform. One extension cord was a 50 ft, 10 gauge. The other was 100 ft 12 gauge. I connected them together for 150 ft of total length. I'm honestly not sure what problem this would ever solve for anybody, but hopefully this is helpful if you have a unique use case for this kind of arrangement.
