Snowmobile clutch removal primary and secondary

This is a how to video on how to remove the primary and secondary clutch from a Polaris Snowmobile. The sled used for this demonstration is a 2016 PRO RMK 800 but the basic steps described in this video can be applied to most any snowmobile.

You’re gonna need the following specialized tools.

Clutch Puller
Clutch Holder

Not shown in this video you must use the clutch holder to hold the primary in place while you remove the retaining bolt, and while tightening the clutch puller.

*Put grease on the threads of the clutch puller.

It’s recommended to use the “water technique” when using the clutch puller. Search YouTube for “water technique” to learn the process.
