Peak2Peak Extreme 2023

Our Team "The Captain's Mates" took on the challenge of the event for the 6th consecutive year in a row. With having done 3 Silver and 2 Gold we decided to give Gold another try this year. Day 1 was in your face technical from the word go and day 2 started no different. By midway after breakfast we decided to opt for the Silver route home as we realized we were not quite up to the challenge. With the Gold monkey off our backs we continued on and enjoyed the silver route thoroughly. Day 3 Silver was an awesome route with a couple of technical hill climbs and "Die Lyster" in the clouds was the highlight of the day. Once again an awesome event and a huge thanks to the Barkley and Clifford famers, the organizers and everyone involved. See you in 2024.
