According to Harvard Business Review, "Happy Businesses attract 37% more customers."
The Happy Neighborhood Project is a registry of Happy Businesses.
Most people have a general feeling what a Happy Business would be like, but we are the first to define it, as: "A business that is committed to a great customer service and encourages a positive work environment." So, of course, we make every business member take two pledges, to provide great customer service & encourage a positive work environment. We hold businesses accountable through feedback from consumers and employees.
We also make the consumers take a pledge of “no public shaming.”
We have case managers to mitigate any disputes to make things right.
Our goal is to humanize the review and feedback systems.
By pulling the focus away from shame-based review systems, the overall energy between a business and consumer can step back from adversarial. Our goal is to humanize the review and feedback systems such that they are a tool for improvement instead of knee-jerk public-shaming.
Come meet the Chief Happiness Officer and learn more about the Happy Neighborhood Project.
