Tecmo's Deception: Invitation To Darkness Review (2020)

Tecmo's Deception: Invitation to Darkness is one of my favorite PS1 games. I'd be lying if I said Tecmo's Deception didn't require you to adjust the nostalgia goggles a bit. It's still a fun game and does some interesting things. There weren't many games like Tecmo's Deception at all during this time so for me a game like this felt very unique. It still does. Tecmo's deception doesn't feel quite as good as it used to, and playing it again made me realize how bad the controls are. Even though I simply can't rate it as high as I would have then, it's still one of the best PS1 games. I can't recommend this game to everyone, but I'd say if we have similar taste and you've watched some other reviews, Tecmo's Deception may be for you! Thanks for watching!
