My hydroponic greenhouse, 12.5 weeks of growth

Hey everybody! Welcome to the 12 and a half week of the 5th year of growing in my hydroponic greenhouse. Here come the tomatoes and cucumbers! Lots of peppers this year as well, including my favorite, the peach ghost pepper, as well as new additions, the pineapple ghost and aji lemon drop which I purchased from a Facebook pepper group I’m in, Pacific Northwest Pepper Lovers.

I made this greenhouse 7 years ago while recovering from chemo. Converted it to a hydroponic system 5 years ago, incorporating Dutch Buckets, for the larger items(peppers, tomatoes, beans and cucumbers. Smaller items go in the three white tubes or “rails” which works as an NFT (Nutrient Film Technique).

I also have some of the simple Kratky buckets, which is just nutrients a water in a bucket feeding the roots. Both buckets use Netcups filled with hydroton clay balls to stabilize the plants.

I’ve used the General Hydroponics Flora series nutrients since I started. Usually around $65 CDN for the 3 bottles. I generally use a shot glass of each in my 64 litre tank.
