How to LEG DRIVE to get more PITCHING VELOCITY!

In this video I talk about one of the 99 ways to increase pitching velocity which is how to get more leg drive when pitching.

First we have to understand what leg drive is. Leg drive is the action of driving off of the pitcher's rubber towards home. Some pitchers confuse this with a push, or and jump, or an explode. But leg drive is very different. As I state in the video, it is a movement that gets progressively faster and applying more ground force as you get down the mound. Being a tall and fall guy, or the opposite, being a jumpy guy, are no good. Great leg drive means an increase in pitching velocity.

So, how do we work on a better leg drive? There are two things I discuss in this video. First, the pitching drill called Sit Drives are a great drill to increase pitching velocity.
