44 cats and 2 dogs were found living in unhealthy and overcrowded conditions in Elkhart after their owner was found dead in his home. The animals were brought to the Elkhart County Humane Society. On top of the animals involved in the hoarding situation, 32 other stray animals showed up to the shelter that same day.
