In this Mathematics (Permutation and Combination) video lecture in Hindi for class 11 we derived the formula for the Handshake Problem with the concept of combination and with a very simple method. This video is helpful for IIT JEE aspirants and class 12 students also.
The question can be formed in the following ways
1) How many handshakes will be there among n people, if each person shakes hand with all other?
1) How many matches will be there among n teams, if each team plays a match against every other team?
Deriving the formula we found that the number of ways will be n(n-1)/2. Or in other words, from the concept of combination, we can say that the number of ways will be the same as the number of ways 2 people are chosen from n people.
