Grabbed by the Ghoulies: Any% Speedrun -

Finally, sub 1:50 achieved! Taking a total of 169 run attempts between 2014-2024.

This was the first game I ever attempted to speedrun, way back in 2014. Back then I didn't even know the term "Speedrun" nor did I know there was an enitre community revolved around playing games with the intention of completing them as fast as possible. My first ever speedrun of Grabbed by the Ghoulies Any% clocked in at 3:14:28 and my first recorded run about a year later was 2:17:22 (Which is still up on my channel), at that point I thought sub 2 was not possible, fast forward to now and we're now able to get sub 1:50 which is just insane to me.

Shoutout to the entire Grabbed by the Ghoulies Speedrun community, so many runners both old and new found so many new strats and optimizations, enough that made sub 1:50 possible.

As for this run itself, this can be beaten for sure! This would've been a 1:48:xx had I not died in Krackpot's Lab aswell as the time loss in various rooms, notably Boathouse 2, Workshop 1, Farmyard 3 and Foundry 1. I'm happy to leave this category for good though, I reached my goal and I couldn't be happier

My plans for Ghoulies moving forward is to get a good New Game+ run with all the new strats, and then focus on fully optimizing Challenge 21
