In this video, we highlight the installation of the brand new Nexar Beam camera. This unit has built in GPS along with FREE and unlimited cloud backup. The GPS marks locations of events, and also gives you the ability for navigation when using the Nexar App (very cool!). Unlike other cheaper cameras on the market, it has built in AI detection of road events (collisions, hard brakes and harsh acceleration modes). The unit creates a standalone local wifi network to communicate directly with your SmartPhone. Your smartphone will automatically (or manually) upload clips to the cloud. No need to manually go in and remove SD cards for editing.We partnered with Nexar because we felt the solution offered by this startup are perfect for people who want a refined solution - everything being coordinated with a robust SmartPhone App. Our installation in this 2020 Acura MDX took more time because we wanted to hide all the wires, but ease of installation is your priority, you can mount the camera to windshield, plug it into the included cigarette lighter adapter, download app and be up and running in five minutes!!
