Canon EOS R5 hand-held video footage and photography of Greylag Geese, including fighting and birds in flight.

My R5 video settings were 100fps, 1/200 shutter speed, FHD, ALL-I. The hand-held birds in flight video footage seems more stable when panning across than when the lens angle is pointed slightly upwards at birds flying.

The photography settings are given under the still images.

Greylag Goose / Anser anser

Greylag Geese are ancestors of domesticated farmyard geese and you can usually hear them before you see them, or hear them coming in groups by the honking noise they make, a recognisable and loud noise even in flight. They are usually found not far from water and feed on farmland and damp grass.
