CRAYFISH, Brown Trout, lighting a fire and chocolate bananas, Co. Wicklow, Ireland

We dedicate this video to Sir David Attenborough on his 95th birthday, thank you for being such an inspiration! In this video, myself and my two daughters head off for the day in Wicklow. We catch two very small trout and a native Irish crayfish. We also light a fire using a fero rod and striker then make some hot chocolate and chocolate bananas. Some nature and animal lovers disapprove of fishing as they believe it harmful for the fish, but by exercising good safe practices and returning them to the water quickly and safely they will continue on their journey without harm! By buying a fishing license we are also supporting local and nationwide environmental bodies to carry out very important water surveys and cleaning programmes which can only benefit the eco system so that future generations can continue to enjoy all that nature has to offer. If we can bring our children closer to nature and help them understand the balance of things, it will after all be for the benefit of humankind!
