'Umar Muhammad Al-Qasim completing the Qur'an in the Haram in Madinah, and attaining an Ijazah from his teacher, Imam of the Haram al-Nabawi, Shaikh Muhammad Khalil al-Qari with the narration of Hafs 'An 'Asim.

An Ijazah (official certification) is a term used vividly in Qur'an and Hadith. It literally means that a student recites to their teacher, and the chain of narration eventually ascends to the Tabi'een (RA), and then to the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and then to the Messenger of Allah himself, then to Jibreel (AS) who directly heard it from the Lord of the Worlds, Allah (SWT).

May Allah accept it from student and teacher, and may He include them among the people of the Qur'an, who are the people of Allah.. Ameen.
