Autumn Fishing Tips: Why Micro Olive CDC Flies Are Game Changers!

Описание к видео Autumn Fishing Tips: Why Micro Olive CDC Flies Are Game Changers!

The Micro Olive CDC fly, a secret weapon favored by Polish fishermen on the beautiful River San and Dunajek.
This fly has earned its reputation not only among local anglers but also among Czech and Slovak competitors, who have relied on its effectiveness to clinch victories in numerous fishing competitions.
The Micro Olive CDC fly is special due to its minimalist construction, which creates an excellent "water print," as fishermen often say. Delicate dun micro flies are thin and fragile, and a bulky fly tied with hackle simply cannot imitate them effectively.
This is why this type of CDC dun fly is so successful in enticing trout and grayling. In this video, I will show you how to tie it properly, ensuring you can replicate its effectiveness on the water.
Materials:

Hook in sizes #16-20
-Thread that lays flat; I use the new Champion 8/0, which is fabulous. Here, I use two threads to create a nice translucent body (yellow with a tint of olive). Check it out here!: https://www.troutline.ro/troutline-ch...
-Tail made of Coq de Leon in the color Rubion
-Thorax made of Mad Rabbit dubbing or squirrel mask dubbing
-Wing made of CDC using two small feathers
-Head made of Champion thread in orange terracotta color

In this video, I tie the fly on a size #16 hook so you can see all the tying details clearly, but I recommend tying it in sizes #18 and #20 for optimal effectiveness.
