Hawarden Forest Trail Ride, Main Loop, Waikari 14-07-2024

Another great ride in Hawarden Forest, it was a bit drizzly today and I didn't do a good job of wiping the camera. This is lap 2 of 3
07:50 You notice me pumping the front brake, they wouldn't work until the lever was at the bars and didn't lock up.
08:46 Anyone know what happened here.
09:15 This young fella didn't like the tree roots think he got taken out by one.
11:19 Had enough decided have a look as to why front brake not working as it should. Found the pin holding disc pads had come undone and backed out causing one end of pad to drop down, I can't have tightened it up enough fortunately the disc guard stopped the pin from falling out, managed to wind it back in with fingers. I have put after market stainless pins (hex head) in and cannot install the cap screw that goes in after the OEM pin (Allen head) to stop it from unwinding if you haven't tightened enough.
11:22 Thanks to this guy who had a 8mm spanner so I could tighten the pin up, this is the wee man from 09:15 had chat with them for a few minutes guy loves his 2020 YZ450FX.
26:50 Some parts of the track were slippery some parts were really grippy and under the trees was dry.
36:19 Who doesn't love a tree root or three I'm sure there must have been a few riders hit the ground after finding one I know I did on my first lap.
42:21 Who had issues getting up this muddy rutted out part of the track.
47:26 A bit of rain, fog and wet gloves isn't a good combination for good clear filming.
49:39 Not a lot of room here, bad line choice on my part sorry to this rider for hitting his bars.
54:26 Ran out of room on memory card a few seconds before end of the loop, still had data from previous ride on memory card.
