How to: 66T Motor Upgrade for Axial SCX24 Heavy Brass Deadbolt. More Torque for Climbing!

SCX24 66T Motor Upgrade:
My son's Axial SCX24 Deadbolt has a bunch of aftermarket brass and aluminum hop ups and big swamper tires. These make it a great climber but the extra weight finally burned out the stock 88T motor.

During this video I remove the old motor and mounting plate before installing the new upgrade motor and plate. I explain what I'm doing at every step and kept bolt tightening at normal speed so you can follow along. Don't be afraid to tackle jobs like this. Get after it and have fun!
