Lisa Gade reviews the new, bigger HP Spectre x360, the 15.6” model 15t. The big Spectre is in many ways the 13.3” model we reviewed in 2015, only bigger. It’s still just 16.9mm thick and has the same unibody aluminum alloy natural silver casing with contrasting polished stainless steel sides and hinges.

The big Spectre x360 runs on dual Core Intel Skylake 6th generation Ultrabook 15 watt CPUs (Core i5 and i7) with Intel HD 520 graphics Intel Iris optional in some markets). It weighs 4.1 lbs. and comes with an absolutely tiny and light charger.

It’s available with 1920 x 1080 full HD and 4K displays— both glossy with support for touch and the optional $60 HP Active Stylus (Synaptics pen). The laptop converts into a tablet and can do tent and presentation modes too via two 360 degree hinges. It’s one of the few large convertibles on the market, particularly with pen support. It has 8 or 16 gigs of RAM, a 256 or 512 gig SSD, dual band WiFi 802.11ac with Bluetooth and a webcam. Pricing ranges from $1,149 to $1,349.
