Hello everyone!

So I know Korra aired yesterday and thus, I usually make a video of Lok and post it today. But I wasn't really feeling the new episode in terms of vidding so I'm going to wait until this Civil War arc ends to vid Korra again (so just until next week). So no worries...I am still vidding with Korra and Makorra especially!

However, I did want to get a video up this weekend and I'm so excited about this one. I know it's Jackunzel yet again but it has been a little while since my last Jackunzel video...RIGHT?!

So anyway, I started this video over two months ago and it's now just coming to light. Had a lot of mental blocks but it just came together in these last few days. I really like this video...might be my favorite Jackunzel video from me thus far.

I've really always wanted to vid with this song even though it's overused because it's so perfect for Jackunzel, especially Jack (having lived so long and waiting for someone to find him and love him and you get me). So when I saw that Boyce Avenue did a cover of it recently I knew it was time! After fiddling with Christiana Perri's alternative version of this song, I came up with my own version. And I really like it because it gives both Jack and Punze a chance to give their point of view!

And what is there point of view you might ask? STORYTIME!

The video starts with both Jack and Rapunzel having major conflicts. Jack's been trying forever for someone to see him and Rapunzel been trying forever to get out of her tower. Jack happens upon Rapunzel's tower and instantly takes a liking to the free spirit. Rapunzel notices something in the corner of her eye and, believing it was just her imagination, draws a picture of the boy she "saw". Jack notices it's him and wonders if she can see him.

Mother Gothel doesn't take a liking to the drawing and thinks it's form of rebellion and tells Rapunzel to cover it up. Jack, saddened by this, decides to enter Punze's towers and lo and behold, she can see him! Elated by this, Jack and Rapunzel start a tentative friendship and that grows to love. You know I always go there. However, Rapunzel is scared of what Mother Gothel would think and eventually, after Mother Gothel finds her out of the tower, goes back "home". But eventually she chooses to rebel and leaves the towr once again where Jack was waiting with open arms.

In the end, they both needed each other and their own courage to face their fears and do what they want.

WOW. Yeah. I know. It's cheesy but it comes up better in the video. XD

Sorry for such a long description but I was really excited about this video and the masking took so long and the story took a lot of time to iron out. So all in all...I hope you enjoy and see you all next week for Korra!
