The Land Rover Series 2 is the result of 10 years of experience and vindication. The heart of the vehicle lies in its powerful four-cylinder Rover two and a quarter litre petrol engine, delivering 77 brake horsepower. The redesigned seating provides increased comfort, complemented by enhanced springs and shock absorbers. The Land Rover's suspension, proven effective over time, retains the use of beam axles for their simplicity and strength. With refinements and improvements, the Series 2 Land Rovers uphold the original design's essence and continue to be the finest working vehicles produced by the Rover Company.
