In 2019, 2Excel Aviation designed and installed conversions for King Air 200 aircraft to fixed wing Search and Rescue and surveillance aircraft for operation by the company's Special Missions division under contract to the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency, who this year are celebrating the 200th anniversary of HM Coastguard. This presentation by Sacha Wright and Chris Beattie of 2Excel Aviation describes some of the highlights and challenges of rapidly designing, certifying and installing an advanced suite of sensors and communications onto an executive turboprop.
