To use a Minecraft structure block, give yourself one using the command /give @p minecraft:structure_block
Step 1: Obtain a structure block
First, enable cheats for your world and make sure you are in Creative mode.
Open the chat window by pressing T.
Enter the command /give @s structure_block.
You will receive one structure block in your inventory.
Step 2: Save a structure
You can define the area of your structure in one of two ways: using coordinates or by using corner blocks. The corner method is generally easier for most players.
Method 1: Using Corner Mode
Place two structure blocks on opposite corners of your build and set their mode to Corner.
Give both of these blocks the exact same name.
Place a third structure block nearby and set its mode to Save.
In the Save block's interface, enter the name you gave to the corner blocks.
Click the Detect button. This will automatically set the Size and Offset fields and show a bounding box around your build.
Click Save. The structure is now saved to your world's files.
Method 2: Using coordinates
Place a single structure block at the edge of your build and set its mode to Save.
Enter a unique name for your structure.
Adjust the Offset and Size coordinates to fit the selection area around your build. The colored lines on the block's preview represent the X, Y, and Z axes.
Click Save.
Pro-tip: To remove blocks that you don't want to copy, place structure void blocks in their place. Obtain them with the command /give @s structure_void.
Step 3: Load a saved structure
Once you have saved a structure, you can place a copy of it anywhere in your world.
Go to a new location and place another structure block.
Right-click the block and set its mode to Load.
Enter the exact same name you used when saving your structure.
Click the Load button once. A transparent bounding box will appear, showing where your structure will be placed.
Adjust the Offset, Rotation, and Mirror options to position your build correctly.
Click Load a second time to place the structure.
