Glasgow Rangers and Red Star, competing in the European Cup soccer tournament, met at Bratislava, Czechoslovakia, November 18 1959.

Twenty minutes before the end neither side had scored. Then the pace hotted up - Scott right wing for the Scottish League champions. headed in the first goal of the match.

Thirteen minutes later, Millar, the Scottish centre forward, was sent off by the referee after tackling Tichy, Red Star's centre half. Tichy then went on to score for Red Star in the last minute, making the score one all. The result qualifies the Glasgow team for the European quarter-finals.
