P1870 Transmission Component Slipping - 4L60-E Transmission

Описание к видео P1870 Transmission Component Slipping - 4L60-E Transmission

On this video we go through a series of test to determine where the problem on this vehicle is at.
Although this is a very common code on the 4L60-E's from GM, this testing method can apply to different trouble codes.
Also, this has to be done if, for example, all the basic areas for setting the code was already covered. As you see in the video, I explain that the shop that worked on this truck had already installed all necessary items to correct this code. The issue was that the TCC solenoid that was installed had a crack on the snout, probably happened when it was shipped or some other items was dropped on it while bagged at the parts place. They did in fact installed the Rostra wiring harness that comes with the solenoid already installed like the factory internal harness. Given the fact that the solenoid was the only issue, it was replaced with a new one from Rostra as well, some wire cutting is required since it is available separately and that's all we needed to complete the repair.
