Meet coalescent mobile robotics, finalist for the Odense Robotics Company of the Year Award 2024!

The Coalescent team specialises in developing and constructing fast, safe and flexible mobile collaborative robots (cobots) for the retail industry to optimise their 'click and collect' and replenishment processes – which today require manual and heavy work by moving goods from warehouse to shelf.

The company is located in Odense, but Odense Robotics met CEO Oskar Philip Lauritzen and CTO & Founder Clionadh Martin at Bilka, their partner and popular Danish hypermarket, to see the robots in action.

"From an operational perspective, the floor staff are using 30 to 40% of their time actually transporting goods from back-store to in-store. These are some of the things we can solve with our robot fleet,” says Oskar Philip Lauritzen in the video.

Coalescent Mobile Robotics specialises in the development and sale of autonomous mobile robots. The robots assist retailers with in-store transportation needs, thereby optimising workflows such as order fulfillment, restocking, and garbage collection. Navigating safely and autonomously in warehouses and store aisles, the robots collaborate with human associates to enhance productivity, efficiency, and working conditions. 🦾

𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬:

Clionadh Martin founded the company in 2018 as a solo endeavour at first, but since then the company has grown to include more than 20 employees from around the world.

Coalescent Mobile Robotics was previously in the former Odense Robotics StartUp Hub at Danish Technological Institute in Odense, which laid the basis for the new Odense Robotics Startup Fund.

The award nominees and winners are decided entirely by the members of Odense Robotics, making the accolade a unique honour among industry peers.

Winners of the Odense Robotics Awards 2024 will be 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐧 13 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 at the robotics fair R-24 in Odense. Both events are free to join and open to all, but require seperate registration.
