Listening to the opening bars from Double Soul Experience, leaves us thinking, “How quickly do people just get up and start dancing?” We think pretty much immediately! A smooth and downright funky ride of blustering beats, a popping bass, jamming keyboard chords, cool guitar licks, the funkiest of sax tones and one of the smoothest and most beautiful voices around.

That voice belongs to Daniela Galli, better known to the public as Dhany, spearhead of the band and of the European dance scene (www.dhany.it) who is also the main vocal renderer of the historic international brand of Benassi Bros. Daniela's presence, with her dynamic voice and vivacious personality, means that the group has no limits to its repertoire, ranging from soul to funk to more poppy and disco sounds, and even extending to the frontiers of rock.

Double Soul Experience is a group born in Bologna in 2014 with the desire to offer quality music out of the usual cliché today. A mixture of pop classy, ​​funky, easy American rock embellished with elegant sounds and electronic. Musicians of vast experience and various extractions for an exquisite mix and at the same time full of energy. The band has its musical roots in the great American refined pop repertoire along with acid-jazz, soul and of course, deep, down and dirty, Funk.

"Daydream" is the title of this first work, a multi-faceted album including the single "Funk Yourself". Some of these songs were written during the lockdown period of spring 2020 and are therefore particularly significant in the feelings they convey and the messages they contain.
