After the last episode which left me so broken, with so many tears, I needed this episode to be a break. For my emotions to calm down, to take the time to grieve. But of course I was not ok with Ubbe learning that his brother died, that none of Ragnar's sons can now protect Kattegat. I want Ubbe to go on that journey, but how can he do it peacefully now that he knows that and also with the two potential snakes on his boats (that Floki didn't make, sorry to repeat it) ?

After this episode, I had a lot of doubts for the Rus narrative arc. For me, Oleg discovered and tested Hvitserk and Ivar's weaknesses : first one totally failed and took drugs again ; second one finally failed, had sex with Katia and told her about Dir and his plan. She's not Freydis, that's for sure, but he can't be sure of her intentions yet. We didn't see any reasons for why she would switch like that. So, after this episode, I thought that Oleg planned that with her.
