In this session, Mikheil Benidze will explore the role of nonprofits and civic actors in building information integrity and responding to digital threats.

Drawing on over a decade of experience in election monitoring, democracy support and counter-disinformation efforts, Mikheil will share insights from leading initiatives in Georgia and across Europe, including his work as Chief of Party for USAID’s Information Integrity Program and his leadership at ISFED.

This session is intended for civil society practitioners, communicators and advocates seeking to understand practical strategies for identifying, addressing and reducing the impact of disinformation in their local and national contexts.
