This video explains the taxonomic hierarchy shows the taxonomic categories or ranks of living things. In the taxonomic hierarchy, the biological classification of living beings is divided into 7 levels of taxonomy which are Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, and Species.

What is Taxonomy and Taxonomic Hierarchy?
Taxonomy in biology refers to the classification of organisms based on their characteristics. This hierarchical system of ranking and classifying organisms to the species level is called taxonomic hierarchy i.e. biological classification of living things. Taxonomic hierarchy categories are also known as Linnaean hierarchy as they were introduced by Linnaeus.

The broadest classifications are by domain and kingdom while the most specific classification is by genus and species. Each species has certain identifiers which are unique to them and describes them.
