Today on our 2017 Kia Soul we're gonna be test fitting the Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, part number C18115. The Curt Cargo Basket is great for carrying your luggage, your sporting goods equipment, or your camping gear and keeping it out of your vehicle. It measures 41 1/2 inches long by 37 inches wide by 4 inches high and has a carrying capacity of 150 pounds although always double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure it can withstand that weight on the roof. At the rear here we're not gonna have any issues of clearance between our hatch and the cargo basket itself. Now that we've gone over some of the features of the cargo basket, let's go ahead and show you how it installs. Now we have three of the legs already installed onto it, and at the back here we'll go ahead and show this one. Now at the top portion of our connection, just line it up and push it up into place like so.

Then we'll take our metal bracket and set it up on top. Now go ahead and take our bolt, place it underneath as well and then take our turn knobs and tighten those down. Just try to tighten them down evenly and secure it to your roof rack. Now we'll go ahead and load it up. Then we'll tie it down and we're ready to hit the road.
