Richland Fire Department Medic 1721 Responding for an injury MVA at “Address Not Available”. Battalion Chief 171 arrived on I-182 just before Exit 4B onto George Washington Way, Station 71s area. He arrived to 1 female patient laying in the median, and would be out investigating. The original dispatch included BC 171, Platform 1714 (in place of Engine 1714), and Medic 1723. Medic 1721 added themselves to the call after clearing the hospital from another call, since it was their jurisdiction. Medic 1723 was requested to continue.

Shown in the second clip is Medic 1721 Transporting to Kadlec Regional Medical Center, Code 3 from this incident. All other fire units also followed them to Kadlec, I assume for manpower.

Washington State Patrol and Richland Police also responded to this incident. According to Washington State Patrol, this was a vehicle vs pedestrian accident and an unidentified person ran into the road on I-182 and was struck by a car. The extent of the female’s injuries is unknowm at this time.
