有一年正月廿四迎老爷，安济圣王巡游经过【真君宫】，他无意看到，宫内神龛上的真君夫人如花似玉，不觉心动。从巡游之后，他就有事无事的，找借口常常往真君宫里跑。

安济圣王他是已经有夫人的，是潮州城外某乡本地人，他嫁给安济圣王的经历，跟潮汕不少老爷，包括城隍爷他们差不多，都是因为来祭拜，被看上的。这位大夫人暴病身亡时芳龄才二八。

再来说真君宫的真君老爷，他是隋唐时候的名医孙思邈。当年，隋文帝封他为“国子博士”他不接受，到了唐太宗，也要封他高官也被他拒绝掉，因此后人称他为“孙真人”和真君子“。

潮州的真君宫，由于香火稀疏，收入有限，经济状况特差。安济圣王是位潮州“大网红”，肯来做客，自然是高兴万分，特别是真君夫人，更是忙前忙后的招待圣王。圣王看到真君他们生活过得太清贫，常常出手大方，带来元宝送给真君夫妇，真君很是感激这位阔气的“好朋友”。

一次两人互吐心事，圣王长叹一口气说：别看我外表光鲜，不过家家有难念的经，我夫人年纪小，时常耍小孩子脾气，我对她疼爱，拿她一点办法没有，最近有在考虑纳个偏房。这话被真君夫人听到，自从圣王是宫中常客，她的生活也变得更有滋味。她暗想，圣王每次过来眼珠从没离开过自己，想必他对自己有意。今晚听到这番话，更肯定了她的感觉。

真君夫人找了个真君不在场的时候，稍微向圣王暗示一下，两人一拍即合。生米煮成熟饭时也是真君老爷孤寡时。就这样，安济圣王带回真君夫人，有了位二夫人。

One year, on the 24th day of the first lunar month, the Anji Shengwang (King Anji) was touring and passing by the Zhenjun Palace when he unexpectedly saw the beautiful Zhenjun's wife, who was as fair and delicate as a flower, in the shrine. He was immediately moved. After this visit, he started finding excuses to frequently visit Zhenjun Palace.

Anji Shengwang already had a wife, a local woman from a village outside Chaozhou. Like many other local dignitaries, including the City God, she was chosen by him during a religious ceremony. Unfortunately, she passed away from an illness at the young age of 28.

As for the Zhenjun in Zhenjun Palace, he was Sun Simiao, a renowned doctor from the Sui and Tang Dynasties. During the reign of Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty, Sun was offered the title of "Guozi Boshi" (Doctor of the Imperial Academy), but he refused. Even when Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty tried to bestow him with high office, Sun refused once again. For this reason, he came to be known as "Sun Zhenren" (Master Sun) or "Zhenjunzi" (True Gentleman).

Zhenjun Palace in Chaozhou was in poor economic condition due to its sparse incense offerings and limited income. When Anji Shengwang, a popular figure in Chaozhou, visited, the palace was naturally thrilled, especially with the Zhenjun’s wife taking care of the guest. Shengwang, seeing how humble and poor their lifestyle was, often generously gave them gifts, including gold ingots, which Zhenjun greatly appreciated as a token of his wealthy and kind "friend."

On one occasion, the two men shared their troubles. Anji Shengwang sighed deeply and said, "Don't be fooled by my outward appearance—every family has its troubles. My wife is young and often acts childishly. I pamper her, but I can't really do anything about it. Lately, I've been thinking about taking a concubine." This was overheard by Zhenjun's wife. Since Shengwang had been a frequent visitor, she had noticed that his eyes were always fixed on her, and she believed that he had feelings for her. Hearing this remark only confirmed her suspicion.

While Zhenjun was away, Zhenjun's wife subtly hinted to Shengwang, and the two quickly became close. In the end, they consummated their relationship while Zhenjun was alone. Thus, Anji Shengwang took Zhenjun's wife as his second wife.
