Clark Ashton Smith's The Tale of Satampra Zeiros

Описание к видео Clark Ashton Smith's The Tale of Satampra Zeiros

Hello Hello! I hope you having an awesome-tastic day!

Let’s look at another story by Clark Ashton Smith. He was a big name during his era, and he wrote many an influential short story during his abbreviated writing career. We’ll look at the short story called “The Tale of Satampra Zeiros” in the pulp magazine Weird Tales in 1931. In this fantasy story, Clark Ashton Smith is going to introduce the Cthulhu Mythos character of Tsathoggua.

Clark Ashton Smith was famous as a major poet in the San Francisco region. He had an eidetic memory and read encyclopedias and dictionaries as a child, and retained that memory and these fun words dot the landscape of his writing. This is one of the first stories in the Cthulhu Mythos that is not by H. P. Lovecraft. It’s fun! CAS has a strong sense of dark humor that will be felt in many of his works, and this is certainly one that qualifies. Enjoy it!
